Dining At Home

Dining (as distinguished from eating) at home sometimes gets lost amid everyone's busy and conflicting schedules. To prevent this, some couples make a point of always having dinner at the same time and reserving that time for each other. Other's celebrate the weekend by making their Friday and/or Saturday evening dinners special. Some couple's "dress" for dinner – a formality that adds to the pleasure of dining. Couples with small children sometimes create late, intimate dinners by feeding the children earlier and putting them to bed so the parents can dine peacefully alone.
