Backgammon is said to be the oldest game in recorded history.
Its origin stems from a version of this board game that was first
played about 5,000 years ago.
Each play has 15 checkers on a board consisting of 24 spaces
or points. The checkers are moved according to rolls of the dice.
Each player tries to bring his own checkers home and bear them
off before his opponent does, hitting and blocking the enemy checkers
along the way.
This standard-sized game comes in a velvet-smooth, lizard-style
attaché case with dice cups and a distinct classic interior.

trim and handle.
