1. How
can I book a getaway on-line?
Hotels that have packages that can be booked on line have a
Book-It button after the Property Description. When clicking
on this button, you are taken directly to the hotel description
and given the opportunity to check availability and book the
package on line.
1. First, review the information about the property and then
click on Prices and Availability.
2. Put in your first choice of getaway dates. Remember, most
of the romantic packages listed are only available on Friday,
Saturday or Sunday nights and place your travel dates and
click on Check Availability. [Because of the limited weekend
availability, you want to have alternate dates if the package
isn't available for your first choice of dates.]
3. You will be taken to Rates and Room information. Review
the room and bedding options listed and choose the type of
bed you want e.g. king, Queen, double, 2 twins. Click on Rates
for that room or bedding option. Disregard the rest of the
room description and price.
4. You will be taken to a Secure Reservation page where you
will fill in the necessary information to secure your reservation
e.g. name, address etc. and credit card information.
5. Then, scroll down to Special Handling. In the Comment
section, type or paste in the name of the package from the
Time for Two listing and any other comments.
6. Check off: Send to Travel Agent not Send to Hotel.
7. Within 24 hours, you'll receive an e-mail containing the
status of your reservation.
2. Do I
have to include my credit card number?
For hotels that require a credit card guarantee, you will have
to submit your credit card number at the time of the booking.
They will then be able to secure your room and send you a confirmation
number.
We recommend using a credit card to guarantee your room, since
most hotels will not hold rooms with out one.
In most cases, your credit card will not be charged until you
check out of the hotel unless the room type you select states
a deposit is required.
For your security, the booking agent, Travelnow.com utilizes
Netscape's secure commerce service, which encrypts the credit
card number, coding it into a non-usable form.
3. What
credit card types are accepted for guarantee or deposit?
Visa, MasterCard
4. My credit
card is not being accepted.
There are a few possibilities: Your card type is not a Visa
or MasterCard; the expiration date precedes the reservation
date; you've reached your credit limit or there's a computer
error. If it isn't any of the above, contact us.

Is there a charge for the reservation service?
We do not charge a service fee to you for using the reservation
and search engine.

When I submit my reservation, who books the room?
You are submitting the information to the Internet Travel Agent
at Travelnow.com who will contact the hotel directly to try
to book your special romance package. The Agent will confirm
the special elements of your package e.g. champagne, dinner,
breakfast in-room, etc.
7. How
long will it take to get a response to my reservation request?
All requests arriving between 9 am - 9 pm Central Time -- Monday
- Friday and 9 - 5 Saturday will be processed within a few hours.
If the request arrives after these hours, they will be processed
on the next business day.
8. How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?
Your booking will be processed and finalized by e-mail and
will include your confirmation number, hotel address, phone
number, and elements of your package and price
9. What is the cancellation policy on my
reservation?
This depends on the policy of the hotel you select. Cancellation
periods vary from hotel to hotel. The standard increments are
to cancel the room by 4 pm, 6 pm, or within 24, 48, 72 hours
prior to stay. If you cancel prior to 72 hours, you will generally
not be charged a cancellation fee (except for special sold out
availability reservations -usually over holiday periods and
hotels who state a different policy in their listings).
Canceling after this period will usually result in one night
room charge being applied to your credit card providing that
they require a deposit or have secured your room with your credit
card.
10. I don't have 24 hours to wait for
a confirmation. What can I do?
If you cannot wait that long you may need to contact the hotel
directly.
11. Are taxes included in the rate?
The price range listed usually does not include taxes. However,
the Time for Two Getaway
Certificates include taxes.
12. Will I receive confirmation from the
hotel?
No. The confirmation you receive from Travel Now that will
include a confirmation number will be sufficient.
13. Can I book any of the hotels listed?
There are some hotels and bed and breakfasts that
do not presently offer on-line booking capability. Their URL
is listed and it will take you their home page where you can
directly contact the property.
